Analog Resistive Touch Screen
This monitor uses analog resistive touch technology which delivers reliable performance in environments where equipment must stand up to dust and liquids such as in factories. It is compatible with 32-bit Windows 7, Vista, and XP operating systems, provides a long touch life (minimum 10 million touches), and accepts input from both a bare and a gloved hand.
Available in Four Configurations
To meet the needs of different industrial environments, this monitor is available in four configurations: standard (with stand), VESA mount (no stand), chassis, and panel mount. For each configuration, a touch panel is optional for a total of eight variations.
IP65 Rating for Panel Mount Configuration
The front panel of the panel mount configuration is IP65-rated meaning it can withstand dust ingress and is protected against low-pressure water jets. This durability ensures the monitor is ideal for deployment in factories.
Energy Efficiency Gauge
|To encourage environmental consciousness while working, a user-activated gauge called “EcoView Index” indicates power and CO2 reduction compared to using the monitor with the Auto EcoView function turned off.|
Analog and Digital PC Inputs
For connecting to PCs, all versions of both monitors come with D-Sub mini 15-pin analog and DVI-D 24-pin digital inputs.

Mercury-Free, White LED Backlight
The LED backlight is very energy efficient, consuming a maximum of 19 watts of power at the maximum brightness setting of 320 cd/m2. Unlike a CCFL backlight, an LED backlight is mercury free so it will have minimal impact on the environment when it is disposed of.
To prevent dust or liquids from entering, the DuraVision FDX1501T does not contain any ventilation holes and there are no gaps around the perimeter of the control buttons.
Optimized Brightness with Auto EcoView
An Auto EcoView sensor on the front of the monitor measures ambient light and optimizes the screen’s brightness to levels akin to viewing a sheet of paper under typical office lighting conditions. Since the screen is never too bright, eye strain is reduced while power consumption is cut by up to 40% compared to operating the monitor with Auto EcoView turned off and set to the default factory brightness of 100%.
